Games which are poorly coded or have some sort of DRM can be taxing on the CPU and the GPU. If nothing helps, you may want to look up whether it is the game or graphics driver that may be causing the issue. Reducing the graphics settings in games, and closing programs that are running in the background can also help you keep the thermal conditions in check, and may even give you a minor FPS boost. ![]() However, if you find the temperature levels are higher than what they normally are in other games, check your computer's vents and fans for dust. It's nothing to worry about, that's what is designed for. The GPU's temperature will rise when you play games, watch videos, etc. That's all you really need to keep an eye on your graphics card. The section at the bottom shows some readings, these indicate the resource usage of the GPU, including the GPU temperature, memory utilization, driver version, etc. It is what it is so I have no choice but to find an aftermarket solution.Note: If you have a dedicated graphics card installed, you will need to select the appropriate GPU from the sidebar. I still can't believe this motherboard at over $300 retail doesn't have a water temp sensor. I am leaning towards the Commander Pro but I figured I would ask here what you guys think. Maybe in the future I will get RGB fans so I would like to be future proof. Which one should I go with? As of now all my fans don't have RGB. I have searched for other options but I keep coming back to those two. It appears the Corsair Commander Core XT or Commander Pro is probably my best option. I am now considering getting an aftermarket option. That reminded me about this motherboards lack of water temp sensor. That is causing my GPU temps to be higher than they need to be. While gaming CPU temps don't always increase enough to ramp the fans and pump up. It reminded me while running GPU benchmarks that my loop doesn't ramp up the pump or fans until the cpu temps increase enough. I recently installed a Thermalright cpu retention bracket which did help to lower temps a decent amount. ![]()
